A clear path from maker to creative director
6 Week Course

✔ Live weekly teaching with Q&A (90 minutes)
✔ Private student community
✔ Includes a 30-min 1:1 deck review
This is for you if…
✋
You’re a graphic designer stepping into creative leadership
✋
Already leading projects but want more clarity + confidence
✋
You’re wanting to direct a campaign / brand / project instead of only executing graphics
This might not be for you if…
😵
You want shortcuts or “just tell me what to do” answers
😵
You don’t want to participate, share work, or get feedback
😵
You’re looking for design tutorials (this isn’t design 101)
Not a software class. Not beginner design.
We’re not covering design basics or tools like Photoshop/Illustrator/Figma step-by-step. Instead, we’re building your ability to think, decide, and lead like a Creative Director—concept, direction, messaging, and how to guide a project + team through it.
Lens: Advertising + Brand Marketing
Everything will be taught through the lens of creative direction for campaigns, launches, and brand storytelling.

This week is about making the mental and professional shift from executor to leader. You’ll learn how the role of a Creative Director differs from that of a designer, what changes in your thinking and responsibilities, and how to begin seeing creative work from a higher level. We’ll cover the mindset, perspective, and expectations that come with stepping into creative direction so you can start leading with more clarity and intention.
-
Build your foundation by learning the essential concepts behind creative direction. This week covers the role of creative direction, the responsibilities of a Creative Director, the structure of the creative process, the purpose of the creative brief, and the role decks play in presenting and aligning ideas.
-
This week focuses on how to lead both the work and the people behind it. You’ll learn how to guide projects from concept to execution, communicate direction clearly, give feedback that moves the work forward, and support a team without micromanaging them. We’ll also cover how to create alignment, build trust, and help people do their best work under your leadership.
-
This week is about developing the kind of presence, credibility, and decision-making that helps people trust your leadership. You’ll learn how to carry yourself with more clarity, speak about your ideas with conviction, and establish authority without pretending to know everything. The goal is to help you become a stronger leader in the room, especially when stakes are high and direction is needed.
-
This week explores how Creative Directors help shape the visual and verbal language of a brand. You’ll learn how to identify what gives a brand its distinct voice, how to create consistency across touchpoints, and how to make creative decisions that strengthen recognition and meaning. We’ll focus on building a brand language that is clear, intentional, and able to support strong creative output over time.
-
This week is about developing campaign ideas that are strategic, cohesive, and strong enough to carry across multiple touchpoints. You’ll learn how to move from brief to concept, how to build a campaign around a clear message, and how to create ideas that are both creative and useful. We’ll cover how to think beyond single assets and develop campaign concepts that support the bigger goal.

Church creatives are expected to lead but rarely trained to.
I believe the church is lacking needed creative education.
So many teams are made up of people with real heart, real intention, and a real desire to serve well but don’t always have the knowledge, training, or experience to carry a project through with clarity and strength.
The gap is often not passion. It’s preparation.
It’s knowing how to think beyond a simple LED graphic. How to concept a project fully. How to navigate feedback. How to lead people and creative teams well. How to create work that is both beautiful and functional. How to communicate something meaningful in a way that truly lands.
We carry the greatest message ever: the gospel. We should equip ourselves to share it. Our world needs it more than ever.
